Drive Belt: Service and Repair

Drive Belt Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake

Manifold/Service and Repair).

2. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to release the tensioner spring tension.
3. Remove the drive belt from around the tensioner pulley.
4. Release the drive belt tensioner.
5. Remove the drive belt (1) from around all the other pulleys.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the drive belt (1) around the pulleys except for the tensioner pulley.
