Rear Shelf: Service and Repair

Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Rear  (See: Seats/Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Seat Cushion Cover

Replacement - Rear) in Seats.

2. Remove the seatback. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear  (See: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Seat Back Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
3. Remove the sail panels. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Sail Panel Replacement) .

4. Release the 3 push-in retainers (3), if equipped.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
6. Disengage the fabric fastener strips, if equipped.
7. Remove the rear shelf trim panel (1) by pulling the panel outward from the rear window.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear shelf trim panel (1) to the rear window.
2. Connect the electrical connectors (2).
3. Fasten the 3 push-in retainers (3).
4. Press to secure the fabric fastener strips, if equipped.
5. Install the sail panels. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Sail Panel Replacement) .
6. Install the seatback. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear  (See: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Seat Back Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
7. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement  (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Sail Panel Replacement) in Seats.
