Sail Panel Replacement

Sail Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Pull away the sail panel (2) in order to remove the sail panel from the rear shelf panel.
2. Remove the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear  (See: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Seat Back Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
3. Remove the seat belt to floor pan retaining bolt.
4. Disengage the molding (1) from the sail panel.
5. Remove the seat belt from the sail panel.

Installation Procedure

1. Ensure that the seat belt is free of twists.
2. Insert the seat belt through the sail panel.
3. Engage the molding (1) to the sail panel.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the seat belt to floor pan retaining bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

5. Install the seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear  (See: Seats/Seat Back/Service and Repair/Seat Back Replacement - Rear) in Seats.
6. Position the sail panel (2) by aligning the clips (3) to the holes.
7. Push in on the sail panel in order to secure the panel.
