Seat Cushion Replacement - Front

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Seat Replacement) .

2. Remove the seat switch and bezel assembly (5, 6, 7). Refer to Seat Switch Replacement - Power  (See: Power Seat Switch/Service and Repair/Seat

Switch Replacement - Power) .

3. On the 60/40 seat, remove the armrest assembly (1). Refer to Armrest Replacement - Front Seat  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Arm Rest/Service

and Repair/Armrest Replacement - Front Seat) .

4. Remove the 4 nuts.

5. Disconnect the heated seat wire harness (1), if equipped.
6. Disconnect the auxiliary power outlet electrical connector, if equipped.

7. Remove the 4 nuts (8) on the bottom in each corner of the seat pan.
8. Remove the seat pan and the seat cushion (4) as 1 piece.
9. Remove fastener retaining auxiliary power outlet if necessary.

10. Remove the power outlet (13).
