CLEAN
^ Mating surfaces at cylinder head and
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Exhaust manifold to head
2. Exhaust manifold bolts
Tighten
^ Exhaust manifold bolts at 25 Nm (18 lbs. ft.)
3. Heat shield.
Tighten
^
Bolts to 10 Nm (90 in. lb.).
4. Accelerator and T. V. cable bracket at plenum.
5. Accelerator and T. V. cables.
6. Air cleaner, breather, and mass airflow sensor.
7. Rotate engine back to its normal position.
8. Crossover pipe to manifold clamps.
Tighten
^
Bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lb.).
9. Negative battery cable.
INSPECT
^ Exhaust leaks
^ Completion or repair
