Brake Light Switch: Adjustments

Stoplamp Switch Adjustment

With the brake pedal in the fully released position, the stoplamp plunger should be fully depressed against the brake pedal shank.

Adjust

1. Insert stoplamp switch into brake pedal bracket.
2. Push brake pedal forward to set brake pushrod into booster.
3. Pull brake pedal to the rear, against internal pedal stop. The stoplamp switch will be adjusted.

Inspect
