Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove air cleaner assembly.
2.
On VIN A & D models, remove lower bolt from engine strut to body brace.
3.
On all models, remove engine strut brace bolts from upper tie bar and rotate strut(s) and brace(s) rearward. To prevent shearing of rubber
bushing(s), loosen bolt(s) on engine strut(s) before rotating.
4.
Remove coolant bottle.
5.
Disconnect harness from fan motor and fan frame.
6.
Remove fan frame to radiator support attaching bolts.
7.
Remove fan and frame assembly.
8.
Reverse procedure to install.
