Regal V6-231 3.8L VIN L SFI (1990)
Exhaust Manifold
1. Exhaust manifold.
2. Loosely install manifold bolts.
3. Exhaust crossover at manifold, loosely install nuts.
4. Tighten manifold bolts.

Tighten manifold bolts to 52 Nm (38 lbs. ft.).
5. Lower engine and remove floor jack.
6. Raise vehicle.
7. Front exhaust pipe and converter to vehicle.
8. Engine mount to frame nuts.
9. Lower vehicle.
10. Tighten crossover.
11. Engine lift brackets.
12. Spark plugs.
13. Oxygen sensor electrical connector.
14. Transaxle oil level indicator tube and bolt.
15. Spark plug wires.
16. Engine torque strut, bolt and nut to engine.

Tighten nut to 53 Nm (39 lbs. ft.)
17. Coolant recovery reservoir.
18. Negative battery cable.

Tighten bolt to 15 Nm (11 lbs. ft.).
19. Fuel injector sight shield and air cleaner assembly.
20. Inspect for exhaust leaks.
