Exhaust Pipe: Service and Repair
Single
REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Support exhaust pipe and three way catalytic converter.
3. Hangers and insulators, as used.
4. Exhaust pipe bolts and catalytic converter gasket from three way catalytic converter.
5. Exhaust pipe from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. New exhaust pipe to vehicle and support.
2. New three way catalytic converter gasket to the front flange of the exhaust pipe.
3. Bolts to three way catalytic converter. Do not tighten bolts.
4. Hangers and insulators, as used. Tighten bolts to three way catalytic converter to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
5. Lower vehicle.
