Condition
Some customers may comment that a high amount of effort is required to sound the horn.
Correction
Install a new steering wheel inflatable restraint module using the service procedures in the Steering Wheel and Column sub-section of Steering in the
appropriate Service Manual. These new modules require less effort to sound the horn when the areas (1) highlighted in the illustration are depressed.
