Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the number 6 spark plug wire from the spark plug.
2. Remove the oil level indicator.
3. Remove the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt.
4. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
Installation Procedure
1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12346286 (Canadian P/N 10953472) or equivalent, around the oil level indicator tube 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) below the
bead.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube into the engine block.
