Engine Mount: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove vacuum reservoir.
3. Raise engine slightly using the following engine support tools or equivalents:
a. Engine support fixture tool No. J-28467-A, or equivalent.
b. Engine lifting bracket tool No. J-38854, or equivalent.
c. Engine core support wedges tool No. J-28467-350, or equivalent.
d. Engine core support arm tool No. J-28467-330, or equivalent.
4. Remove two torque axis engine mount attaching bolts, Fig. 1.
5. Remove two torque axis to engine through bolts.
6. Remove serpentine drive belt as described under Drive Belt/Service and Repair.
7. Raise engine to obtain enough clearance to remove engine mount from front of engine.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
