Fuel Return Line: Service and Repair
Rear Fuel Feed / Return Pipes
WARNING: To Reduce the Risk of Fire and Personal Injury:

Do Not attempt to repair sections of nylon fuel pipes. If damaged, replace.

Identify the inlet and outlet of the engine compartment connecting pipes. The fuel pipes have formed bends and can only be installed in
one direction. If direction is reversed, chafing may result in a fuel leak.

If nylon fuel pipes become kinked, and cannot be straightened, they must be replaced.
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Relieve fuel system pressure.

2. Fuel tank.
3. Locate tank in suitable work area away from heat, flame, or other source of ignition.
4. Desired fuel pipe to be replaced.

Note position of pipe to be replaced for installation.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Position new pipe as noted during removal.
2. Fuel Tank.
3. Add fuel.
4. Fuel filler cap.
5. Negative battery cable.
INSPECT
Turn the ignition switch to "ON," position for two seconds, then turn to "OFF" for 10 seconds. Again turn to "ON" position, and check for fuel
leaks.
