Riviera V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (1995)
Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air bag as outlined in Air Bags and Seat Belts/Air Bags (Supplemental Restraint Systems)/Air Bag/Service and Repair.
3. Remove steering wheel retaining nut, place match marks on shaft and steering wheel.
4. Using pulling tool Nos. J-1859-03 and J-38720, or equivalents, remove steering wheel from steering shaft.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Align mark on steering shaft with steering wheel.
b. Torque steering wheel retaining nut to 30 ft. lbs.
