1. Raise and support vehicle so as to allow control arm to hang freely, then remove wheel.
2. Support control arm with a suitable jack, then disconnect Electronic Level Control (ELC) air tube from shock absorber.
3. Disconnect shock absorber at control arm, then remove cotter pin and slotted nut securing adjustment link to knuckle.
4. Using universal steering linkage puller tool No. J-24319-B, or equivalent, separate adjustment link from knuckle, then slowly lower control arm
until it bottoms on rear suspension support assembly.
5. Pry under lower coil spring insulator and remove spring with insulator, Fig. 5; then, if necessary, remove jounce bumper by pulling downward.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten all bolts and nuts to specifications.
