Fig. 4 Shock Absorber Replacement

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and support control arm with a suitable jack stand.
2. Disconnect Electronic Level Control (ELC) at shock absorber, then remove 2 shock to control arm bolts, Fig. 4.
3. Remove luggage compartment trim as necessary to gain access to shock absorber upper mounting nuts, then remove shock upper cover.
4. Remove upper mounting nuts and reinforcement, then the shock absorber.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten mounting bolts and nuts to specifications.
