Riviera V6-3.8L SC VIN 1 (1995)
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New gaskets on case.
2. Side cover and new bolts.
TIGHTEN
^
Side cover bolts to 11 Nm (98 inch lbs.).
3. Oil cooler pipes.
TIGHTEN
^
Ball check fitting to 52 Nm (38 ft. lbs.).

Pipe fitting 38 Nm (28 ft. lbs.).
4. Raise transaxle so frame bolts can be installed.
5. Three frame-to-body bolts.
TIGHTEN
^
Frame-to-body bolts to 112 Nm (83 ft. lbs.).
6. Remove transmission jack.
7. Intermediate shaft to steering gear.
8. Pinch bolt at intermediate shaft.
9. Drive axle.
10. Ball joint to steering knuckle.
11. Remove drive axle seal protectors.
12. Stabilizer shaft link to lower control arm.
13. Tie rod end to knuckle.
14. Inner splash shield.
15. Left front wheel and tire assembly.
16. Lower vehicle.
17. Transaxle park/neutral position switch connector.
18. Cruise control servo vacuum hoses.
19. Negative battery cable.
INSPECT
^
For leaks.
^
Fluid level.
