Express Down Feature

Express Down Window

The express down window feature is available on the drivers window only. Depressing the down switch greater than 0.3 seconds activates the express
feature. Quickly tapping the down switch will move the window down an increment at a time if you desire. There are two ways to stop the express
feature as it is going down:

1. Press the down switch a second time, or
2. Press the up switch once.

Loss of power to (or failure of) the window control module only eliminates the express feature.

CAUTION: Make sure to disconnect the power window switch when working inside the drivers door with the trim panel removed. When
operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly which could cause personal injury.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Door trim panel.
2. Water deflector.
3. Drill out rivets (2) using a 3/16" drill bit.
4. Connector (3).
5. Express down module (1) from door.

Install or Connect

1. Express down module (1) to door.
2. Secure with two 3/16" rivets (2).
3. Connector (3).
4. Water deflector.
5. Trim panel.
