Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair
Hose Replace

A/C Hose Routings And Service Port Locations - 2.4L 4cyl.

Tool Required:
J-39500 A/C Refrigerant Recovery, Recharging, and Recycling Station

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1.  Negative battery cable.
2.  Recover refrigerant.
3.  Wire connector from A/C pressure sensor.
4.  Raise vehicle. 
5.  Line at condenser.
6.  Line at evaporator.
7.  Compressor/condenser hose from compressor.
8.  Discard all the O-ring seals and sealing washers.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1.  Compressor/condenser hose at compressor using new sealing washers. 
2.  Hose to retainers.
3.  Line at evaporator.
4.  Lower vehicle.
5.  Line at condenser using new O-ring seals.
6. A/C pressure sensor and wire connector.
7.  Evacuate and recharge A/C system with 1.02 kg (2.25 lbs.) of R-134a.
8.  Leak test.
