Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair
Dip Stick Tube Seal
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Bolt from tube to transaxle case.
2. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
3. Place drain pan under transaxle.
4. Tube and seal from transaxle.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New seal into transaxle.

Lubricate with DEXRON(R) III.
2. Tube into transaxle, using care to avoid seal damage.
3. Lower vehicle.
4. Bolt through tube bracket into transaxle case.
Tighten
^
Bolts to 9 to 13 Nm (80 to 115 inch lbs.).
