BLOWER MOTOR FAILS TO RUN (CHANGE SWITCH)

MODELS AFFECTED:

1987 SOMERSET 1987-90 SKYLARK

CONDITION:

There have been comments received that the blower motor fails to turn on.

CAUSE:

Figure 1

The cause has been found to be failed electrical contacts inside the mode switch assembly located in the control head assembly. (Figure 1)

CORRECTION:

Figure 2

This condition may be corrected by changing the mode switch assembly in the control head with a new switch P/N 22567340. (Figure 2)
