The EN-48869 has a unique design to allow the technician to easily install the front crankshaft seal squarely to the correct depth and direction. Before
proceeding with installation, review the illustration to become familiar with the tool.
Removal Procedure
Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement in SI.
Use care not to damage the engine front cover or nick the crankshaft.
Remove the crankshaft front oil seal (1) using a suitable tool.
