Skylark V6-3100 3.1L VIN M SFI (1996)
Using a wrench, turn the drive nut on the threaded force screw shaft (2), this will push the seal into the engine front cover.
Continue to turn the drive nut (2) with the wrench until the installer body (1) is snug and flush against the engine front cover.
Loosen and remove the drive nut from the threaded force screw shaft, washer, bearing, and installer body. Verify that the seal has seated properly, flush
against front cover flange (1).
Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement in SI.
Inspect for proper fluid levels.
Inspect for leaks.
