Fitting from Evaporator inlet 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

Fitting to Evaporator 24 N.m (17 lb ft).

From Evaporator Outlet 8 N.m (71 lb in).
2. Heater core shroud and straps.
Tighten
^
Screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
3. Heater core cover.
^
There is a mounting screw located in a recess in the center of the cover
Tighten
^
Screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).
Important
^
The fittings on the TXV should be leak checked before finishing re-assembly. This can be done without running vehicle.
a. Evacuate and partially recharge A/C system with 0.48 kg (1 lb) R-134a.
b. Leak test.
4. Floor duct.
5. Steering column filler.
6. Left side insulation panel.
7. Electrical junction box to heater core cover.
8. Right side insulation panel.
9. Console.
10. Finish charging A/C system.
11. Performance check system.
