Air Bag: Service and Repair
Driver's Inflator Module
Inflator Module- Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR)
Remove or Disconnect

Disable the (SIR) system, See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair
1. Two screws from the back of the steering wheel using a #30 TORX© driver (or equivalent).
2. Connector position assurance (CPA) and electrical connector from rear of inflator module.
3. Inflator module.
Install or Connect
1. Electrical and connector position assurance (CPA) to rear of inflator module.
2. Inflator module to steering wheel and four screws through back of steering wheel. Tighten screws to 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).
