CHART C-12A

ENGINE COOLING FAN

2.5L "A" SERIES

FUEL INJECTION (TBI)

    Battery voltage is supplied to the fan control relay terminal "E" and ignition to terminal "C".
    Grounding CKT 335 will close the relay and is controlled by the fan temperature switch when A/C is off or, vehicle speed is above 30 MPH.
    When the A/C control switch is "ON", and the compressor high side low pressure switch is closed, circuit 901 will provide ignition voltage to terminal
"A" of the A/C fan relay.
    If vehicle speed is less than 30 MPH, ECM terminal 9 and circuit 409 are grounded. The A/C fan relay coil is grounded, closing the relay, which in
turn grounds circuit 335.
