Oil Pressure Warning Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation
The oil pressure switch/sender is closed when oil pressure falls below 4 psi. Voltage from the F/P 4 cyl fuse is then applied to the oil pressure relay coil,
closing the relay contacts. This allows voltage to be applied from the gauges fuse to the oil pressure warning indicator.
