Astro Van 2WD V6-4.3L VIN W (2001)
Notice: Do not start the engine with any power steering hose disconnected, or damage to the components could occur.
1. Install the hydraulic brake booster outlet hose to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Connect the hydraulic brake booster outlet hose to the hydraulic brake booster.

Tighten the hydraulic brake booster outlet hose to the hydraulic brake booster to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the hydraulic brake booster outlet hose to the power steering gear.
Tighten

Tighten the hydraulic brake booster outlet hose to the power steering gear to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the drain pan.
5. Install the hydraulic brake booster outlet hose tie straps.
6. Bleed the system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System.
