Early Fuel Evaporation ( EFE ): Service and Repair
ELECTRICALLY HEATED TYPE
EFE HEATER, REPLACE
1.
Remove air cleaner, then disconnect all electrical, vacuum and fuel connections from carburetor.
2.
Disconnect EFE heater electrical connections, then remove carburetor and heater element.
3.
Reverse procedure to install.
EFE HEATER RELAY, REPLACE
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove relay electrical connection.
3.
Remove relay attaching bolts, then relay.
4.
Reverse procedure to install.
