Torsion Bars Bushing Replacement
Removal Procedure
Important: This procedure requires the removal of both torsion bars.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the torsion bars. Refer to Torsion Bar and Support Assembly Replacement (Bushing Style) (See: Torsion Bar and Support Assembly

3. Remove the bushing from the bracket utilizing a bushing driver or the equivalent.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the bushing to the bracket utilizing a bushing driver or the equivalent.
2. Install the torsion bars. Refer to Torsion Bar and Support Assembly Replacement (Bushing Style) (See: Torsion Bar and Support Assembly

3. Remove the safety stands.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Measure the Z height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection (See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Trim Height
Inspection) .
6. Turn the adjustment bolt clockwise to increase the Z height and counterclockwise to lower the Z height.
