Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

1.

 Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

 Remove left side wiper arm using following procedure: 

a.  Remove plastic cap from end of wiper arm shaft.
b.  Remove nut from end of wiper arm shaft.
c.  Using suitable tool, pry wiper arm from wiper arm shaft.

3.

 Remove wiper drive link from crank arm.

4.

 Disconnect electrical connectors and washer hoses from wiper motor.

5.

 Remove wiper motor attaching bolts, then remove wiper motor, guiding crank arm through drive hole.

6.

 Reverse procedure to install.
