Rear Door Limiter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Fully open the door.
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the body-side check link bolt.
5. Remove the check link plug.
6. Remove the door-side check link nuts.
7. Pull the check link from the inside of the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the check link in the door.
2. Install the check link in the body.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the check link nuts. 

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the check link bolt 9 N.m (80 lb in).
