14. Install the transmission to oil pan bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
15. Install the front differential if equipped with four wheel drive. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement in Front Axle.
16. Install the steering linkage shield, if equipped. Refer to Steering Linkage Shield Replacement in Steering.
17. Lower the vehicle.
18. Fill the engine with oil and install the engine oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Change.
19. Connect the negative battery cable.
