6. Remove the throttle body nuts.
7. Disconnect the air bleed hose from the throttle body.
8. Remove the throttle body and the gasket.

IMPORTANT:  Do not reuse the throttle body gasket. Install a new gasket during assembly.

9. Discard the throttle body gasket.

10. Inspect the crankcase ventilation hose and the tube. Replace any damaged components.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install a new throttle body gasket.
2. Connect the air bleed hose to the throttle body.
3. Install the throttle body.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the throttle body nuts.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
