Thrown off, broken, worn or glazed alternator belts may be the result of alternator pulley misalignment to the water pump and crankshaft
pulleys.

If this condition is encountered, obtain and install the following parts:

P/N 14079285,  spacer (replaces P/N 6262934 - 5.0L and  5.7L).

^

P/N 14079284,  spacer (replaces P/N 3993312 - 3.8L). 

^

P/N 14079250,  belt (replaces P/N 9433639). 

NOTICE:

New parts available SOP 1984.
