About the C 2500 Suburban 2WD
This is the two-wheel-drive three-quarter-ton Suburban (C means two-wheel drive, K four-wheel drive). The Suburban, built since 1934, is the longest-running car nameplate in the world and the forerunner of the modern full-size SUV, combining a wagon body with pickup-truck mechanicals. GMC has sold it too, as the Yukon XL since 2000.
What these manuals cover
- 1994–1998: the 5.7 and 7.4-litre V8s and the 6.5 turbo diesel
- 2001–2002: the 6.0 and 8.1-litre V8s
Tip: the GMC C 2500 Suburban 2WD manuals cover the same vehicles.
