Owners of some 1988-1991 C Trucks with less than 15,000 lb. GVW may comment that they frequently have to adjust the park brake cable tension or
that the cable is out of adjustmeht capability after a few adjustments This condition may be caused by the frame bracket (left front cab mounting bracket)
flexing and allowing the park brake cable tension to vary.
To correct this condition, a park brake cable stretch bracket (P/N 15659766) has been designed.
