Frontal SIR System Remove or Disconnect
Remove or Disconnect (Figure 13)

Disable the SIR system, Refer to Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming.
1. The driver seat.
2. The carpet retaining sill trim molding LH.
3. Fold back the carpet to access the inflatable restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM).
4. The CPA (Connector Position Assurance) and the electrical connector.
5. The fasteners from the SDM.
6. The SDM from the vehicle.
