When you install fasteners, use the correct tightening sequence and specifications. Following these instructions can help you avoid damage to parts and
systems.
1. Gasket.
2. Booster assembly.
3. Nuts.

Torque nuts to 36 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
4. Pushrod.
5. Stoplamp switch and retainer.
6. Vacuum hose.

Gauge the booster pushrod. Refer to Adjustments.
7. Master cylinder and wiring harness bracket.
8. Nuts.
^
Torque Nuts (1) to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
9. Release parking brake.
10. Negative battery cable.
