Camshaft: Service and Repair
Replacement, Engine Overhaul

REMOVAL

1. Remove the bolts. 

2. Remove the camshaft thrust bearing.

3. Remove the camshaft sprocket spacer. 

4. Remove the camshaft. Pull the camshaft from the block carefully to avoid damage to the camshaft bearings. 

INSTALLATION 

NOTE:  Replace the valve lifters when a new camshaft is installed.
