The procedure for replacing the compressor shaft seal has been deleted from the Electronic Service Information. The procedure outlined in any printed
Service Manual for this operation and the associated special tools mentioned should be deleted from all printed Service Manuals in your possession.
Service of the compressor shaft seal on Delphi compressors is no longer an authorized service procedure. Special tools have not and will not be
developed for this procedure. This applies to all 2001 Delphi compressors; V-5, V-7, HD6, HT6 and HU6.
