Engine Lift Bracket Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect both the battery negative cables from the batteries.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Remove the upper fan shroud from the radiator.
4. Remove the drive belt from the drive pulleys.
5. Remove the engine cooling fan from the water pump.
Important: When performing this service procedure, the air conditioning compressor does not have to be evacuated. Reposition the A/C compressor
to the side.
6. Remove the air conditioning compressor from the engine lift bracket (if equipped), and position to the side.
7. Remove the idler pulleys from the engine lift bracket.
8. Remove the auxiliary generator if equipped.
9. Remove the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing.
