Oil Filter Adapter Replacement

Oil Filter Adapter Replacement 
Removal Procedure 

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

2. Remove the oil filter from the oil filter adapter.
3. Remove the oil filter adapter.

Installation Procedure 

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the oil filter adapter into the engine block.

Tighten the adapter to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). 

2. Install the a new oil filter.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Inspect engine oil level and add as required.
