C 3500 HD Truck 2WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (2001)
1. Install the power steering cooler (1) to the radiator support.

Tighten the bolts (2) retaining the power steering cooler to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).
2. Install the power steering inlet hose to the power steering gear (1).

Tighten the power steering hose fitting to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the power steering cooler outlet hose (1) to the power steering gear.
4. Using the J 43218 install and crimp the retaining clamp.
5. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System.
6. Inspect all the hose connections for leaks.
7. Install the front grille to the vehicle. Refer to Grille Replacement (Base) in Body and Frame.
