Crankcase Depression Regulator (CDR) Valve Replacement
Removal Procedure
The Crankcase Depression Regulator (CDR) valve is replaced as an assembly. Replace the hose, the pipe, and the grommet as required, if the
inspection indicates cracks or decay.
1. Remove the hose clamp at the CDR valve.
2. Disconnect the hose from the CDR valve.
3. Remove the CDR valve by pulling straight up.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the CDR valve into the valve cover.
2. Connect the hose.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the clamp.
Tighten the clamp to 1.7 Nm (15 inch lbs.).
