3.2. Slide the large diameter of the boot off the tool.
3.3. Install the boot in the caliper bore groove. The lip of the boot must firmly sit in the groove.
4. Install the piston inside J24548.
5. Install the piston halfway into the bore.
6. Remove J24548. Ensure that the boot is sitting firmly in the groove.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
7. Install the bleeder valve.
Tighten the bleeder valve to 13 Nm (110 inch lbs.).
8. Install the caliper to the vehicle.

Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove the brake caliper from the vehicle.
Caution: Do not place your fingers in front of the piston in an attempt to catch or protect it when applying compressed air. This could result
in serious injury.
Notice: Use only enough air to ease the piston out of the bore. If the piston is blown out, even with the padding, it can be damaged.
2. Place a thin piece of wood in front of the piston in order to prevent damage to the piston when removing it from the caliper bore.
3. Direct compressed air into the brake caliper fluid inlet in order to remove the piston.
