Alignment: Service and Repair
Prior to checking or adjusting front suspension alignment, inspect suspension components for damage or excessive wear, and replace as needed.
Ensure tire pressures and wheel bearings are properly adjusted, then raise and release front bumper several times to allow vehicle to assume normal ride
height.

Caster adjustments are made by moving the position of the upper strut mount assembly. Fig. 3.To make adjustment, remove dust cap and fender bolt
and attach tool J-29724 to original fender bolt, Fig. 4. Tighten the turnbuckle and loosen the three strut mount attaching nuts.
Adjust caster by lightly tapping the mount assembly forward or rearward. Move mount forward to decrease caster, or rearward to increase caster.Fig.

When adjustments are completed, torque the three strut mount attaching nuts to 20 ft. lbs.
