ALL CHEVROLET DEALERS
Isolated instances have been observed when owners have spilled beverages and other fluids into the tape mechanism particularly of Camaro AM/FM
stereo cassette radios. This is considered negligence by the operator and is not covered under warranty.
If a radio is received with this condition, the costs should not be charged as a warranty repair.
Minor field spills may be cleaned using distilled water. Care must be taken to minimize the washing away of lubricants. Care must also be taken to
protect the motor from the distilled water. If cleaned, the deck must be dried thoroughly and relubricated before being reassembled.
If further assistance is required, call "Dial Delco" at 1-800-428-0501 (Indiana 1-800-382-0531).
