1991 "F" style vehicles built after the following VIN breakpoint will use a new type front door glass retainer assembly.

The new part combines the vertical weatherstrip and plastic panel (used on earlier styles) into a single component.
If service of these parts is required, it is recommended that the part be replaced with the type part with which it was built.
Example

Past models prior to the 1992 VIN breakpoint, use the early type multi piece retainer.

Models built after the VIN breakpoint, use new components.
