Condition:
Inside of convertible top storage area may become wet.
Cause:
Water enters stowage area through # 5 bow latch.
Correction:
Install TWO rubber grommets, P/N 12510756 on # 5 bow latch pin as follows:
Part is currently available from GMSPO.
1.
Open driver's side door and pull the # 5 bow release latch forward.
2.
Raise the # 5 bow to full vertical position.
3.
Install the rubber grommets on to the latch pin. The smaller diameter faces up for both grommets. (See Figure 1).
